Description
This limited edition Colt 175th Anniversary Single Action Army revolver is a beautifully crafted tribute to one of the most iconic revolvers in American history. Manufactured in 2011, this Third Generation SAA is chambered in .45 Long Colt with a classic 7 1/2-inch barrel, finished in Colt’s deep royal blue with gold embellishments, and outfitted with crisp checkered plastic grips.
According to the included factory letter, this revolver shipped on July 18, 2011 to RSR Group, Inc. of Grand Prairie, Texas, as 1 of only 175 units produced in this configuration. It comes complete with its original Colt blue case and outer shipping box (with a secondary non-factory label).
The revolver is in excellent condition, retaining 99% of its original finish, with only minimal handling evidence and a subtle plum hue on the trigger guard—a common characteristic in Colt's bluing. Mechanically, it is flawless, making it a perfect centerpiece for collectors of modern Colt commemoratives or high-end single-action revolvers.
